Hii installed TeamViewer Quicksupport yesterday and after i restarted windows 10 , i found that all files of teamviewer quicksupport were deleted automatically . Can you tell me why they were deleted

Please make sure to download the setup file and install it properly if you want to be able to pin it to your start bar.

Unfortunately, using the setup file and just running it without install will not allow you to pin it to the start bar.

It is not possible to install QuickSupport sorry.

Our QuickSupport module is a single .exe file that is designed to be run quickly from a single downloaded package without the need for the install.

@Yuri_T @I downloaded setup and opened it , when it opened , I pinned it to taskbar and remotely connected pc to Mobile then I closed it and restarted the pc and after It restarted I tap on pinned icon in taskbar nd it says the file TeamViewer.exe is missing now .

Seems that the teamviewer quicksupport apk on the market is a old version. I've tried connecting several times using the one from the market and its saying "I'm using a old version, new version available" coould we get the one in the market updated?

Thanks for your reports. We are working with Teamviewer to update the add-on in Google Play Store. As soon as we receive the add-on that includes the remote control feature, it'll be uploaded to Formuler Market as well.

That is why, I would request like it was on some 4 years old maybe Formuler market that Formuler puts again "LeanKey Keayboad " available to downoad without necessity to connect to the playstore with annoying (sometimes forgotten password and double identification) in the Market, it is well available in the Playstore or as free apk to download , but for an average lambda customer, it would greatly help to have it available in the market to replace the too small

Please I request that Formuler puts back in the market "LeanKey Keyboard" that is greatly customizable, takes the whole screen for people with bad view and enable vocal search in BT (if you disable location)...(a bug searched for a long time and discovered alone, by myself on Z10 series only (not on Z8/pro though) and after update of the Formuler remote app, vocal search is finally possible.

Install the latest TeamViewer QuickSupport app from Market app, Google Play Store, or their official homepage, and install "TeamViewer QS Add-on for Z10 & Z8 series" from Market. This will enable remote control feature for models listed in the add-on description in Market.

GTV add-on is available through Downloader app using the following code and again, do not install the universal add-on when prompted. This add-on is the only add-on that enables remote control feature for GTV.

Screen Sharing -> speaks to an Apple menu -> System Preferences -> Sharing -> Screen Sharing enabled, only if the other person as administrator enabled it to me. And only if I know their IP address. If they are behind a router or wifi base station, then I need to use something like Anydesk.

Clicking on the popup menu of the person you are chatting with brings up an option to invite or request screen sharing. I would imagine it requires you have some iCloud contact information associated with the other person, but I'm not sure.

From my experiments with various options the closest macos alternative to the very simple and reliable windows quick assist experience is teamviewer quicksupport. See QuickSupport by TeamViewer . There is even a quicksupport app for android that lets you remote control help friends and family with android device issues. Would be nice if apple enabled similar experience vs requiring the person you are trying to help out to have to be walked through a bunch of macOS settings in order to let you remotely view and control their screen [ and no option for remote control of iOS ].

Just enter the contact name into Screen Sharing and hit connect. It will pop up a notification asking if they want to allow you to connect. Screen Sharing doesn't have to be enabled prior, and it doesn't even enable it to make the connection. So, you don't even have to disable it after your are done.

@Barney-15E thanks for the pointer to the screen sharing app. I was only aware of the screen sharing options exposed in system preferences sharing which appear to be focused on enabling one to do an unattended remote connection to other devices living on your same network. Given that straight forward story for using the screen sharing app i guess the teamviewer quicksupport would only be relevant if you needed to enable non-macOS users to connect and remotely control / support your setup.

@Barney-15E wrt how windows quick assist works . . . The person looking for help starts quick assist app [ installed by default ] and waits for the person looking to support them to start quick assist on their end and provide the randomly generated connection code. the person enters that and then approves the remote control session. Some cloud operated rendezvous service addresses firewall traversal requirements.
