Thegame started with Carter Randall and Kaden Quirk in goal for the Golden Bears and Pride, respectively. The teams would each have chances on offense before the first goal was scored. The Golden Bears would get the scoring started with a goal on their fourth possession of the game. Nicholas Campagnone found Jacob Roy for the goal 3:16 into the game. Jake Degnan responded with a quick equalizer thirty-seven seconds later. Just under a minute later, Matt Webb received a pass from Mason Nocito and found the netting to give the Pride the lead. Just over two minutes later, Jake Degnan doubled the Pride lead. Degnan received an assist from Bryan Stensrud on the goal. The Golden Bears took that quick hit from Springfield College and answered. With 5:04 left in the first, Nicholas Campagnone found Zachary Mein for the goal. Springfield College was then called for a penalty, but the Golden Bears could not capitalize. With 2:47 left in the first, Dylan Hanley found Thomas Labbe, and the game was tied 3-3. That is how the score would stay after one quarter of play. The stat line showed eleven shots for WNE compared to nine from Springfield College. The Pride had more saves 7-2 and more ground balls picked up 12-11. Both teams had three faceoff wins.
The second quarter started similarly, with turnovers from both teams. However, this time, it was the Pride with the first goal of the quarter. Kevin Tierney netted the goal for the Pride. After Springfield College owned much of the possession, Jacob Roy netted a second goal to tie the game 4-4. Carter Randall would make a save on the following Springfield College possession, which led to a Thomas Labbe goal, assisted by Dylan Hanley. The Golden Bears were back in the lead. With 5:12 left in the half, Gage Sperlonga found the back of the net for a goal. With 3:44 left in the second, the Pride were called for a penalty. Again, the Golden Bears were prevented from capitalizing on the man-up opportunity. However, with under a minute left in the half, the Golden Bears got a few crucial goals at the time. Dylan Hanley found Jack Houlden with forty-eight seconds left, and Zachary Mein found Jacob Roy with twenty seconds left. The Golden Bears led 7-5 at halftime. The first-half stats showed the Pride lead in shots 17-16, saves 8-4, and faceoffs won 7-6. Both teams had picked up twenty ground balls.
The third quarter saw Springfield College march back into the lead. The Golden Bears would extend their lead 3:07 into the second half via a Jack Houlden goal, assisted by Dylan Hanley. However, Kevin Tierney answered thirty-eight seconds later. Then, a thirty-second penalty was called on the Pride. The Golden Bears would not score but gained momentum on the man-up opportunity and scored a little after it expired. James Wrynn found the back of the goal to push the lead back up to three. This is when Springfield College started a four-goal run. With 8:03 left in the quarter, Mason Nocito found Jake Degnan for a goal. Vincent Scialdone would win the ensuing faceoff and pass it to Degnan, who scored five seconds after the previous goal. With the Golden Bears leading by one goal, the Pride kept sending shots at goal, and eventually, the equalizing goal made it past the WNE goalie. The Pride finished the quarter with a goal with nine seconds left in the quarter. Mason Nocito scored, and the Pride went into the final quarter with a 10-9 lead. Stats for the third quarter saw the teams equal in shots 8-8. The Pride led in saves 4-2, faceoffs won 6-2, and ground balls 7-5.
The fourth and final quarter began with a goal from Springfield College 1:53 into the quarter. Mason Nocito found Bryan Stensrud to push the lead to 11-9. Thomas Labbe answered forty-nine seconds later for the Golden Bears. Six seconds after that, Vincent Scialdone found Degnan again for a goal. Fifty-five seconds after that, Dylan Hanley found Brian Madden for a goal. It was back-and-forth action. Whenever the Golden Bears closed the two-goal Springfield College lead, the Pride would double the lead once again. That is exactly what happened with 9:42 left in the game. Jake Degnan found Bryan Stensrud for a goal, which pushed the lead to 13-11. Dylan Hanley answered with 7:59 remaining. However, Mason Nocito doubled the lead once again for the Pride. Bryan Stensrud had the assist. With 3:49, it was Brian Madden who cut the lead to one; however, the Golden Bears were not able to equalize. Nicholas Campagnone would get a pass right in front of the goal with eighteen seconds left in the game. However, Kaden Quirk made a big save, which sealed the victory for Springfield College. The final stat line showed the Pride lead in shots 33-32, saves 14-8, ground balls 38-33, and faceoffs 17-13. The Golden Bears fell to the Springfield College Pride, 14-13.
I accidentally deleted my outlast saves. I was near the end of the game i think, so it would take a lot of time to play again.
Save games that i found on the internet was from cracked version of the game and does not work.
Maybe someone can send me the game saves from the moment when you drop your camera to the basement. They stored in C:Program Files (x86)/Steam/userdata/some number/238320/remote.
I was doing my collectible run and i got halfway through the female ward and hadnt missed any and had batteries, i paused the game right after the fuse part to take a few minute break. When i came back, all the collectibles had been lost, was back at 2 batteries and my camcorder added 2 hours to my time
What I Learned: like the Lunatic and Energiser achievements, this needs to be done in 1 run. You may pause the game for any period of time and manual saves are recommended. You may not hit the guide button for any reason, if you back out to the dashboard, all your progress and batteries will be reset and you will need start from scratch.
Same happened to me , just after meeting the twins for the third time (climb out of the window to the right) , lost all my collectibles had to do another playthrough today , got them all in one go and made sure not to view them or pause the game while the icon in the right is showing incase this bugged them out, also manual saved after each one.
I went through the whole game, got all of them and the achievement didn't pop even though the tracker showed 100%! I then did the no hiding achievement by doing chapter select then loaded up my old save and I still have all collectible a but it shows 51% in the achievement tracker. WTF?!
Mine glitched out as well it sucks plain and simple, but you DO NOT need to collect all the notes/documents in 1 sitting and I know this only because I was playing the game whilst collecting the notes/documents with a friend over a period of 3 days, where as mine glitched his did not and he did turn of his xbox in between sessions as well as changing to other games.
This happened to me as well on my initial collectable run. Around the time just after the doctor I noticed that all documents and notes I previously collected were gone from the inventory. Needless to say you have no choice but to restart unless you have a previous save from before the bug occurred. Thankfully its a short runthrough to get everything again. Started double checking after every new collectable and making multiple saves in case it happened again.
DetsEightyOne posted on ta that the glitch occurs when you push the xbox guide button without pausing or quitting the game beforehand. I can't confirm this yet but up until now (I'm at 64%) none of my collectibles were reset and I played the game in many different sessions but I always paused the game and hit quit/back to menu before I pressed the guide button and completely exited the game. Hope that helps.
Well that explains why my collectibles kept glitching out and resetting. A lot of times when I'm playing a game, I will back out and switch to the TV app to check a score real quick. Oh well another play-through won't take too long I guess.
This is the game you remember, the game in the drop-down menu of your brain when you think "2014." The game that you keep revisiting the next day at work, scanning your memories and hoping to find different nuances and quirks. You'll remember the sound of the empty ballpark, the suddenly audible hecklers, the way every bat sounded like it broke on a hard-hit ball. You'll embrace the wackiness of Tim Lincecum getting a save, the uncomfortable feeling you had when you realized that George Kontos's eyeballs were replaced with check-engine lights. It all added up to that, a six-hour game that's pretty much the reason you watch baseball.
If they lose, you wasted six hours and Joe Panik is hurt and the bullpen is shot and Lincecum's going to be tired on Friday and now you have to take the trash out because it's trash day tomorrow and your hand got in the trash and it was raw chicken aw jeez and one day you and everyone you know will die.
So let me point out that it was a good thing that the Giants won this particular 14-inning contest, a game that happened to end with them in first place. Now it becomes the game you remember fondly instead of something that makes you rethink the choices you've made in your life. There was six hours of baseball, and at the end of it, the Giants were in first place. A starter relieved, two relievers basically started, and Hector Sanchez won't be able to take his own cleats off for a week.
You would have sat in the closet and chewed on jackets if they lost. Instead, it was a magical game that helped remember why you care about baseball in July, even if it really is a dumb sport. It was the game you remember.
If I'm reading this right, that was the third-longest game the Giants have played since moving to San Francisco, just seven minutes behind the 18-inning game from 2001 (in which Ryan Vogelsong took the loss).
The disclaimer is there for obvious reasons. Heroes are driving ambulances in a war zone or going back into the fire to get a kitty. Baseball is a way to avoid thinking about real heroes and why they exist. However! When you get a rush of endorphins after a game like this, when baseball fulfills its purpose so perfectly, there needs to be a word stronger than Really Good Player. There needs to be, if not a word, something that's a cross between a Croix de Candlestick and a Willie Mac Award. We can make out of tinsel and CD cases and send somewhere.
