Hello everyone,
It was a great pleasure to meet you all. Again, I apologize for the inconvenience caused due to delay on our part. As we had informed you, the sensitization program will close around fifteenth, but, as the Orissa chapters were started recently, we can finish our tasks by the end of this month.
@KLS: You have already begun the sensitization of KISS and now only the aptitude test and selection of students remain to be made. As discussed, the primary problem is their English skills. I would suggest you guys to meet their English teachers and find out the students who in their view are comparatively better than the rest in English. You have already spoken to the commerce students, so conduct the test straightway for them. Meanwhile, sensitise the science and arts students and conduct the test afterwards (preferably on the same day). Keep in mind the number of students that you will be administering the test to and form your teams in that manner. Before you reach the school for conducting the exam, kindly chart out a plan of action in such a way that the aptitude test, correction of papers, tabulation of results, report, selection of students and putting them in touch with IMS guys is completed by the end of this month. Please feel free to implement your own plans since you are in a better position to assess the situation out their. Goodluck and organise your team well. If you guys need any assistance from IMS, BBSR, please let me now and I shall talk to them :-)
P.S. Anyone with a corporation bank account at KLS, kindly inform me, so that I can reimburse the money as soon as I get the bills.
@NLUO: Overwhelming response, for which team IDIA is grateful. Most of the things that I have mentioned above also apply to you. Your main concern is identification of a school. I’m assuming that you have already started your search for it. Paucity of time forces us to locate a school from within cuttack wherein we can find meritorious students who fit into our socio-economic bracket i.e. parents income less than Rs. 20, 000 p/m.

I will add the names as soon as possible. Regarding delegation of administrative powers, both NLUO and KLS are free to draw up any strategies. There is absolutely no hierarchy at IDIA. Please feel free to implement your policies but before that kindly discuss the same on the group so that we get more suggestions.
