The configuration properties for any of the Apache Hadoop component can be changed using Intel Manager.

* In configuration menu of Intel Hadoop, select the Apache Hadoop component.

* Make desired changes in brief configuration tab or full configuration.

* Save your changes. These changes can also be tagged for reference.

* Propagate changes to all the nodes.

                * In configuration menu select "Nodes" options.

                * In the Nodes Tab click on "Provisioning Service Properties" link.

                * When asked if you want to configure the cluster, click on "Yes".

The same process can be used to add or remove properties for any of Apache Hadoop Components.

Hi Priyank,

for example, if i make a change to mapreduce parameter and commit the change then follow the steps which you outline below, how can i validate the changes in the xml. is it in a mapred-site.xml?
i would like to validate that any change i make in idh manager has been provisioned to all nodes in the cluster.
thanks, terry
