Apache Hadoop* is an open source software framework for running data-intensive, distributed applications on large clusters. The Intel Distribution for Apache Hadoop software is the only distribution built from silicon up to enable the widest range of data analysis on Apache Hadoop. It is the first with hardware-enhanced performance and security capabilities. It is the only open source platform for big data with support from a Fortune 100 company.

The IDH Users group provides a community and technical forum for users of the Intel Distribution. In this group, you can find answers about high level design and implementation of Apache Hadoop clusters as well as complicated low level questions about installation and configuration. And of course, feel free to ask any technical questions that you may have.
