Wrong post date

It's my first day to post and I've stuffed it up already!

I tagged the post I wanted to display today and didn't realise(but
should have) that it would use the date the post was released.

My post is now buried in the past.

I've updated the post date to be today but I expect that it won't get
updated automatically.

Is there anything I can do about this or should I just suck it up and
move on.

Miguel kindly responded to me on twitter. I forgot that we get admin
access to wordpress so after logging in and updating the date it was
all good.
