My name is Todd and I'm a programmer living in Portland Oregon. I've
been a programmer for over 20 years and have worked on a wide range of
products. I've built a wide range of applications from educational to
games to high end storage systems. When asked what is my favorite I am
inclined to say the current one, whatever that happens to be. Or as my
friend Robert says "Oooh, shiny!"

Currently I have a single product called "Quick Scope". Its a
educational oscilloscope that allows collaboration between students.
I've got a pipeline of ideas that are of a lighthearted science style.
The genre Im aiming for may not be a full on game, but it is an appeal
to the hobby attitude and as such the feel is as important as the
functionality. If only there were more time in the day I could try and
bring both to a high polish.

I've been following iDev for a year now and have found a lot of
inspiration. It helps to know that I'm far from unique in the troubles
I might have running a small independent shop. The authors that follow
an idea from inception to completion are really very brave. I'm not
sure that I have that kind of courage but I will try to be honest and
objective with what I do write about.

So... once every two weeks here I come.
