[ideology / power] training set released

Dear all,

An improved version this year's Ideology and Power Identification
shared task training set is released. The link to the data and a
simple baseline is added to the shared task website at
<https://touche.webis.de/clef25/touche25-web/ideology-and-power-identification-in-parliamentary-debates.html>.

As well as orientation (left - right) and power (opposition -
government), we also added a populism identification sub-task to
this year's task. You are welcome to participate in any of the
sub-tasks for all or a subset of the 29 parliaments.

We will announce here when the submission system is ready.

We are looking forward to seeing your approaches. Please do not
hesitate to ask if you have any questions.

1_ when the submission system will be ready?
2_ will be any extension to the deadline?

Dear Pasquale, dear all,

The submission system is almost ready. We are running some final
tests, and I will send an email here as soon as they are done.
The test set (without labels) is also ready at
<https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.15337704>. You can already
inspect it and start producing the predictions. Please remember
that we have a small sample data, and descriptions of submissions
along with the baseline and evaluation script here:
<https://github.com/coltekin/ideology-power-st-baseline>.

And, yes, there will be a deadline extension likely until May
23rd, but this is tentative and there may some changes until it
is officially announced (likely tomorrow). Please note that the
paper submission deadline is set by CLEF, and it is unlikely to
be postponed.

I will provide more details on the submission systems and the
deadlines soon.
