Minimum 5 years of Aerospace Engineering experience with more than 4000 hrs using Catia V5 R16 or later.
Knowledge of Pneumatic products and Valves
3D (Complex) modeling and 2D drawings for aerospace customers.
Working knowledge in the following specific areas is expected:
- Castings (including establishing datums and datum targets, draft angles, applicable tolerances, etc.)
- Detail Components (i.e., Mechanisms) - Machined
- Detail Components - Casting
- Assemblies (of detail components / mechanisms)
A good example is experience with gear box and fuel / hydraulic / pneumatic valves
- Aerospace Materials (MMPDS, Aerospace Materials Handbook, ASME, SAE, etc.)
- Aerospace Hardware (Nuts, Bolts, Washers, Safety Wire, Seals, etc.)
- Drafting Standards (presentation and interpretation of engineering drawings)
- Aerospace Coatings, Processes, and Finishes (including Chrome, Chem Film, Anodize, etc.)
- ANSI Y14.5M (1994 and 1982 versions)
- Fastener Installation, Fit, and Torque Standards
- Qualification testing of valves, mechanisms, and / or aircraft structure
- Standard Machining / Fabrication Methods, and associated requirements for callout of manufacturing methods on drawings (i.e., welding and associated drawing callout, surface finish callout, etc.).
The candidate should possess skills in Catia 3D and 2D Drafting with good knowledge of GD&T, Tolerance Stack Up Analysis.
