A successful candidate will possess strong passion in mobile technologies, excellent software testing skills, and proven record in shipping high quality software.
Qualifications
Solid understanding of device drivers and its interfaces
Knowledge of Windows CE is required
Strong C/C++ coding, debugging, and testing skills required
Strong knowledge of any of the following areas:
USB protocol and driver APIs
Cellular technologies: CDMA, UMTS, GSM
Various wireless and location technologies: WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, cell
embedded devices
Demonstrated ability to analyze technical issues and come up with creative solutions
Team player with excellent communication and collaboration ability
Primary Responsibilities
Creating new tools and automating test cases
Debugging and analyzing automation failures
Enhancing existing test automation
Analyzing crash dumps and presenting summaries
Analyzing code changes and the associated risk and impact of assigned area
Recommending tests to execute for owned features to ensure no regression
