Job Title – 2 Contract openings – SQL Server Developer
Location – Toledo, OH
Approximate Duration –2-3 months (Extendible)
Years Experience – 4-7 years

Job Description
This role is for a senior SQL Server developer (not DBA or DB Analyst)
 
Responsibilities:
* Extensive SQL Server development, development of stored procedures, triggers and packages
* Experience with SQL Server 2000 and 2005
* Hands on experience on coding, troubleshooting and performance tuning T-SQL.
* Excellent SQL Server tuning experience. Familiarity with SQL Server Profiler, execution plans
* Designing and managing SQL Server objects including tables, indexes, views, constraints
 
Required Skillsets
Database Systems:
* Minimum of 5 years of in-depth SQL Server developer experience with proven records in database design, development, stored procedure development and tuning for high efficiency,
* Most current experience as a developer on SQL Server 2005 or 2008.
* Practical experience in a high volume/availability batch, OLTP and OLAP environment.
* Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
* A motivated team-player with ability to work in a time constraint project.
* Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally to peers and management.
 
Other Programming Skills:
* Knowledge on web services, XML /XSL, Java/J2EE technologies.
* Should posses experience with version control systems such as ClearCase.
 
Business Knowledge:
Experience in the Healthcare Industry is a strong plus.
Project Experience :
This position requires a minimum of five years as a developer on large-scale highly available web-based applications.
Communication Skills
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Includes the Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally to peers and management
