Questions:

  1. Anyone here planning to attend?
  2. Anyone here planning to submit papers?
  3. If you have attended, could you provide a quick overview of the conference format? Specifically:
    • Is this more high-level strategic how-you-should-IAM-in-30-seconds stuff? Or more technical hands-on stuff?
    • Who are the usual attendees? Developers, architects? CTOs?
    • How are these "papers" presented?
    • If you have submitted, is there a specific format that the paper should use? (i.e. IEEE)

I am debating whether I should get started, and would be great to hear from you all if you are planning to go and/or present.

Thanks.

Hi,

I did not know this conference, thanks for the link. The call for papers ends in one week, and the submission format is defined here: http://oid2016.fondazioneinuit.com/submit.html#

That said, this conference seems very academic. Requiring at least 2 pages of writing just to submit a proposal will discouraged a lot of people from the industry (but here I speak for myself).

Anyway, if someone from Identity Ecosystem could be there, this would be very nice.

Hi all,
I agree with Clément, they also provide a LaTeX template :-)

The facts that this year the conference is very close to Tirasa (~200 km) and that they have a specific "Open Source" section

http://oid2016.fondazioneinuit.com/call.html

makes me think that we will definitely be there, and possibly propose something.

I'll keep you posted.
Regards.
