to iDempiere

Hello everyone,

I’m currently using Flyway for database migrations and have a large number of SQL scripts that are already applied to the database (baseline scripts).
Now, I’d like to switch to the built-in iDempiere migration tool (plugin-based migration scripts) to follow the standard iDempiere way of managing schema changes.

Could anyone please advise on:

  1. How to migrate or baseline existing Flyway scripts so that iDempiere recognizes the current database state?

  2. Whether there’s a recommended way to convert or register existing scripts into the iDempiere migration table (e.g., AD_Migration / AD_MigrationStep)?

  3. Any best practices or examples from others who have made a similar transition?

Thank you in advance for any guidance or examples.

Best regards,
Kanat
