WORKFLOW EMAIL ATTACHMENT

Hi Community,

I created one Node "(Email to Sales Rep)" in Process_Order Workflow.

Tick the check Box Attach Attachment over it.

Now it is sending the default system generated Order Print where as  i have added my own created Jasper Print in the default print process too.

Still sending the system generated one.

Please help me how to overcome this situation.

Hi Martin,

my use case is like this-

There is approval on the sales order, once approval goes to the supervisor another node sends an email to the supervisor along with an attachment as a notification.

For that, I need to attach the printout document to that email node.

To achieve this, I checked the checkbox attached attachment on the Workflow node tab.

Please guide me on how I can do that with this plugin coz I tried this plugin I m unable to run this plugin, might be I must doing any silly mistake which I don't know, please help to guide me in this scenario.

Hi Akshara,

I'm not sure, whether I understood your description correctly.

You can call beluga serverprint from within a workflow for a document of your decision. It than can call a predefined jasper report for this document and send it by mail. It can also add additional attachments if they are attached to that document with a given name prefix.

Perhaps you could explain your intended workflow (that of real persons, not that within idempiere) a bit more. And to help you get the plugin running, please describe the problems you got. Did you have a look at the explaining video?

Hi Martin,

I sucessfully run the plugin.

Now my new challenge is to send the email to the Sales Rep of the document. 

As you know there are 3 options - send to user 2nd send directly, 3rd send to fixed person.

Can we do some setting like this which send email directly to the Sales rep of that document?

Hi Akshara,

at the moment it is only possible to get an additional copy to the actual user if notificationtype is set to email. We are currently doing some big changes to the plugin. You'll then be able to add sales rep in CC. We hope to get it ready in about three to four weeks.
