Costing Production Light Manufacturing

Dear iDempiere Community,

Currently I testing Light Manufacturing in iDempiere, and got some case, could you please help and advice for the case below.

I added a product P10202000102J PC Flake Lempeng with BOM (included machine inside the BOM), then I created a production order

Question:

1. On accounting posted journal, seem the cost calculation for production order based on average invoice price of material (30,23076935) not price defined in the standard price list How to use standard price list for material ? or FIFO price on material usage for production order?
   
   
2. I want to include machine usage rate in the BOM, so the hours of machine usage for the production calculated as part of production cost. to do this I configured machines in resources, and put it as a BOM of finish product, added a standard price list for machine rate.
   How to include machine's usage hour as part of production cost?

Please advice for the case above, thank you in advance.

Hello,

We are using  Libero Manufacturing with Standard Costing. But you  can use my answer for Light Manufacturing too.

1) You can update Standard Cost through Price List when we will use process Standard Cost Update.

2) For  Labor and Resource we are using Resources and new Cost Elements.

you can follow advice from Peter.

i was wrong, i though cost definded from pricelist, actually it taken from cost field, as Peter said.

so you need to define a cost for each BOM and iDempiere will sum it all and listed on posting button.
