Hi,

We have the following requirement : add 2 fields on the location panel for mexican locations only : Municipio and Colonia.
As only few business partners will have those fields filled, i would prefer not to modify the C_Location table and only add 2 fields in C_BPartner_Location tab.
Or maybe used Address3 and Address4.

Has someone already handle those fields ?

Thanks,

Nicolas

Alejandro, that plugin looks great - I think it deserves a page on:

Hi community.

Thank you alejandro for the credits.

This plugin extend location with municipality and parish levels in Venezuela but the intention of this is to allow to more definitions of geographyc distribution. For example here in panama i use for township "Corregimiento" and you can use just one level or both of them, by configuring in the country information, that country have regions and what level to show.

Because of this pluging was my first pluging and because of bad practices of my develop (Sorry) i didn't do any documentation about it but it is time to do it.

Carlos in past times i develop an sms integration and you suggest that "  I think it deserves a page on: http://wiki.idempiere.org/en/Category:Available_Plugins " i would like to know if i can do this because i was not clear about who can put this information in the wiki page.

Hope you clearify this to me to proceed.

Thanks for sharing Eduardo!  All plugins are welcome.

Please feel free to add available plugins pages - in my opinion wiki must be open to publish any open source plugin available for community and you can (must) put your deserved credits on the plugin page.

The only plugins that I would not like to see publicized in our wiki is closed source things.  But until now I haven't seen any, so, thanks to this great community.

BTW, the available plugins pages are intended to be like a market place - and we added a mechanism to rate plugins - so, if anybody test or use a plugin please, the least you can do is go to that page and rate it - and say some words to the author on the Talk page if that's ok.

Regards,

Carlos Ruiz

Hi community i upgrade the plugin of location. The code is in my bitbucket https://bitbucket.org/ghintech/com.ghintech.location. It have the 2pack and many things corrected.

As i say before this was my first plugin, and after correct all the bugs and everything on it i start believe in god and in miracles :) jajajaja. I really dont know how it works before but now is really really production version.

I am going to create a page for aviable plugins but you can start using it rigth now by configuring just 2 things in the window Country, Region and Cities

1.- Country have regions
2.- Capture Sequence @MU@ @PA@  in the place you want it appears. I recomend you put it after region like this @A1@ @A2@ @A3@ @A4@ @C@,  @P@ @CO@ @R@ @MU@ @PA@

Also you can use just @MU@ if you need just 1 level more than region. Hope it works for all.

As long you publish sources i will not be upset. There are those who do not but make wild public claims that they contribute to open source in our group and wiki. I have written a gentle reminder to them about compliance with GPL law. To those who did not receive any gentle emails from me, just know that i am too upset to write. :)
