Hello everybody,
Hello Carlos,
Hello Low,

In this case I will show you the behaviour of the Web GUI during interaction. I made 2 small videos to show this.

clip0002.mp4: shows the behaviour, if I have only one tab "as1_sales_order" open. The time between switching from row to row by clicking with the mouse is fine.

clip0003.mp4: shows 2 behaviour:
1. each new build of a tab "as1_sales_order" become a little bit slower. (elapsed time for a new tab)
2. after opening a few tabs "as1_sales_order" I reopened the first tab and did the same thing as in point 1 described. But now, the switch from one row to the next row needs a lot more time. (elapsed time to switch from row to row)

Is there a way to reduce the  elapsed time between the two activities described?

Kind regards,
Philippe

Hi Philippe,

Can you provide the client environment that you run the test on  ( OS, amount of Memory, Browser and Browser Version ) ?

Also, if possible, it will be good to have the test result from both Firefox and Chrome ( and Safari if it is running at Mac ).

Regards,
Low

Hi Low,

My dev environment is

OS: Windows 8
Memory: 4GB
Browser 1: Firefox V23.0
Browser 2: Chrome V28.0.1500.95 m

Basically the interaction with Chrome works better and faster than Firefox does, but in this case Chrome becomes in the test case of Point 2 a little bit slower too.

The behaviour on different Ubuntu installation is similar. (tested with Firefox, Chrom and Chromium)

If you need more informations, let me know.

Regards,
Philippe

I try with Chrome 29 on Ubuntu 12.04 and can't reproduce the slowness you show on the video ( of course, that wouldn't have the same changes that you have make to the sales order window so the comparison could be flaw ).

I guess, one thing you can try is to reduce the number of columns for grid view which should help to speed things up a bit.

Hi Marco Longo.
not need integrate, we can consider make it as plug-in at first.
to integrate carlos must take a lot time to review its.

After test, i see code is not enough good, but can user for test performance.
1. layout not good. chart too big, list request is too short.
2. chart just support in pe and ee of zk, we use ce.
3. current zul file in root => anyone can open this page without authenticate
4. it's a independent page. it should is a tab (window or form) of idempiere

I resolve 1, 2 to use it.
3 can resolve when resolve 4.
4 resolver when make plug-in
2 should switch to current lib chart of idempiere

anyone want use my update can get it from below url two patch:

attach is screen of new layout.
