Housekeeping - export as xml ; reimport ?

Hi,

I would like to run Housekeeping periodically to reduce size for some tables.
I tested export XML files, but what if I need to reimport data in tables ?
Is there a way to "convert" xml files into "insert" statements?

If not, does 2Pack can be used for that purpose?
(ie: create a 2Pack, then delete related lines, and if necessary, reimport them using PackIn)
