Some issues when using iDempiere report

Hi everyone,

When using iDempiere (2.1) and export PDF file with Jaspersoft Studio (5.6.0), I have some problems and I need your answers.

Question 1: I create my report following this tutorial. When I use exporting PDF function in iDempiere, it always display 2 tabs for PDF preview.

Why it need to display separate 2 tabs with same content? How I can set up for it only display one tab?

Question 2: I create my report with Jaspersoft Studio (5.6.0) and using DejaVu Serif font for it. But iDempiere 2.1 doesn't support this font. I have researched the solution for this issue and but all of them don't work. Font size when exporting PDF file doesn't change.How I can fix it?

i think it's not design of *dempiere, maybe something wrong in your implement? you can redo it in fresh instance?

or try redo your issue at.

what's exact your issue? font size don't change or don't support DejaVu Serif? or both?

about report font, i see a lot thread and wiki about it.

Hi hieplq,

1. I sure I follow this tutorial with step by step. I have tried many times, but it still display 2 tabs.

Tab 1: Display full report screen.

Tab 2: Display small report screen.

And I don't know why.

2. I have tried import DejaVu Serif into iDempiere following some ways that I researched. My report displays with DejaVu Serif font. But font size doesn't change. All of word on my report displays with font size is 10. What I can do? Please help!

1. please confirm in fresh install and demo server to sure you correct setup your server.

2. you deploy jasper by source file (a xml with rasper extension) or binary (don't remember extension)

if you use binary, please try source.

2. I use *.jasper file.

2. just recheck, jrxml is source file and jasper is binary.

jrxml is source file - Yes, I know. I follows this tutorial and it uses *.jasper file.

Hi,

There is no need to fill the 'Classname' field in the process/report "Sales Order report".
I think this is the cause of the 2 opened tabs.
