Jasper Reports and Font Sizes

Hi all,

I spend my day with Jaspersoft Studio and designing a Jasper Report for customer invoices. The font I use is "DejaVu Sans".

However it seems to me, only the default font size (10) works, regardless if I have chosen other fontsizes for individual "Static Text" or "Text field" objects (actually ranging from 7 to 48 points in the report design).

Why are the font-sizes ignored, once the report is used by idempiere (2.0) ?

Any hints are much appreciated.

P.S. in JasperSoft studio the report looks perfect. Only once it is processed by idempiere, the font-sizes are being ignored.

The jar for that font has to be in the classpath of the JVM where Idempiere is running. Some font's are not, by default, included in the classpath.

Thank you Denis. I read about it yesterday, but I thought that applies only for "new" fonts. I will try.

i have another question
i have created the report and its working well on my idempiere which is on windows OS,
and the problem is i copy my jasper report to idempiere on redhat and and it showed only blank pages 
what should i do?

Jeff, maybe you problem is that linux doesn't have the fonts used in your report. View the log. If this is the case, google something like: rpm microsoft fonts
