Operation not permitted

Hello,

when i try to execute this command(sh console-setup-alt.sh) in this location (/opt/idempiere-server) it shows below error

<title>Invalid Configuration Location</title>The configuration area at '/opt/idempiere-server/setup/configuration' is not writable.  Please choose a writable location using the '-configuration' command line option.

iam already attached my log details below file. Could you please any one help me on this

Maybe you missed this step:

chown -R idempiere:idempiere /opt/idempiere-server

sudo chown -R idempiere:idempiere /opt/idempiere-server

Hi,

so you'll need to add idempiere to the sudoers or you have to login as root and repeat the command without sudo.

Hi, please don't add the idempiere user to sudo, the idea of the idempiere user is have a not full access user to the server, run this command with the root user..

I am successfully installed idempiere. when starting the server it's finished like the below code.it means the server successfully starts or some kind of error. if it successfully starts then how I can open idempiere in google.

During the setup, what port you gave for web?

use ip:port on your chrome to access the service.

Yes i have already imported database successfully.iam execute this on awa ec2 server..so i think i have to use ip address instead localhost right?

server public IP:port (which is 8080)

make sure this port is open in firewall also.
