Looking for Open-Source CRM to Integrate with iDempiere — Focus on Quotation Functionality

Hi everyone,

I’m running iDempiere (open-source ERP) and I’m looking for an open-source CRM that integrates well with it. My top priority is a robust Quotation/Proposal module, including:

• Flexible quote layout/templating, branded PDF output

• Multiple quote lines (grouped sections, optional items), discounts, taxes

• Product attributes/variants and rich line descriptions

• Versioning/revisions and approval workflow

• Email send-out with tracking and e-signature (optional)

Nice-to-have:

• Email-to-lead / inbound email parsing

• Web-to-lead forms

• Basic CPQ features (rules, dependencies)

• Multi-language support (EN/NL/TR)

• Document templates per customer/segment

Technical environment / integration needs:

• iDempiere now; planning upgrade path (9 → 11/12/13)

• PostgreSQL backend

• Prefer REST API or webhooks for sync (accounts/contacts/products/price lists/opportunities)

• Quote-to-Order handover into iDempiere (create Sales Order on acceptance)

• Single sign-on would be a plus

Questions:

1. Which open-source CRM have you successfully connected to iDempiere for end-to-end quoting?

2. Any existing connectors, best-practice guides, or community plugins I should evaluate?

3. Gotchas regarding data model alignment (products, UOM, taxes, price lists, attributes) or upgrade compatibility?

I’d really appreciate concrete experiences, connector links, and lessons learned.

Hi, 

based on your requirements and additional features, i can't recommend any open source CRM that can use without highly customization. i prefer you build separate application that connect to IDempiere REST. IDempiere already have basic CRM and can fulfill your basic needs.

it's also depends if you have technical team that can handle the open source CRM and integration with IDempiere or not.
