Retrieving RSS feed(s)

Hi everybody,
i'm running iDempiere according the following environment from iDempiere Server Monitor :

Version : 4.1.0.v20170625-0432

JVM : Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 25.131-b11

OS : Windows 7 6.1 Service Pack 1
----------------------------
iDempiere home page show the box reserved to "RSS feed" empty as shown by the picture in attachment.
How to solve ?
Any help or suggestion would be appreciated.

 i think it's due to access restriction ..  but frequently the customer ask for something more ..

 you can customize the homepage as you want

ore you can install a complete new theme 

 - http://wiki.idempiere.org/en/Plugin:_Theme_Business_Team

Do you mean access restriction by some rules of my firewall ?
At the moment my scope is not a customization but undertand the reason of this issue.

following your link about customization i found-out my home.properties in org.adempiere.server_4.1.0.v20170625-0432.jar plugins folder
According home.properties idempiere should retrieve information from :

rss1                 =    https://groups.google.com/group/idempiere/feed/rss_v2_0_msgs.xml
rss2                 =    https://groups.google.com/group/idempiere-es/feed/rss_v2_0_msgs.xml
-------------------------------
I have no problems opening the links with the browser but inside iDempiere seems i have problems.

Any help or suggestion would be appreciated.

Hi Stefano,

also on test.idempiere.com:8080  is not working   .. so no firewall behind this "bug"     

but IMHO the customer it's not interested in idempiere google groups 

probabily most of us changed the homepage with something more specific  (company twitter rss ... )  so nobody is looggin at this 

my suggestion is to use a service you can have full control ( we used for example twitter )
