What are some good resources for learning about iDempiere and ERP? Youtube has some videos but would be nice to have other resources as well.

Get the Adempiere 3.4ERP Solutions and the Adempiere 3.6 Cookbook. Those are books. AFICS many people use it.

Hi Dimitry !
If you seriously want to use Idempiere lateron
dont waste yuor time and join the ERP-Academy by Chuck Boecking !!!
Its 199 US Dollars per Month and more then definitly worth it !
He will be happy to answer your questions 1) in 4 Meetings per week (tue: 2,thu:2) and also answer REALLY tries to answer your questions inside his own private Google-Group !

I did the BIG mistake to wait and hope I understand all the conepts by myself for over a year.

Easiest way is to go to

and pay the 199 Bucks with Paypal (or use your CC instead, possible too in there )

Hes absolutely serious, very friendly and knowing about all the concepts inside Idempiere !

Please feel free and doubt all this because of the Money, and wait untill guys from the Idempiere - Core confirm my post !

Regards
Florian

Hi Flo,

Yep, I already tried Chuck's material. I had 0 experience when I signed up so it was a very steep learning curve, everything was completely foreign to my previous experience and knowledge but it provided the spring board for where I can do a lot on my own now. I'm definitely not ruling out signing up again, but for the moment, I'm still learning the system on a rather simple level which requires little hand holding. Chuck provides some good information for more advanced users, I'm not at that level yet. I'm still learning very basic things.

Thought about this some more, just wanted to clarify that Chuck's material is very good for beginners also, otherwise I would still be totally clueless about the system. If you have no idea about iDempiere, watch his videos until things start to become clear, things will be totally confusing initially, but you just need to persevere. Concentrate on his core videos.
