what is osgi console when run swing without eclipse?

Hi everyone!

when i run idempiere client without eclipse.

user adempiere-client or adempiere-client.sh.

how to i can install, start, stop plug-in? I don't see a osgi console.

I try by use terminal run adempiere-client.sh, after run ss command in the terminal, but nothing output.

Hi,

take a look at idempiere-server.sh which starts the server. Comparing it with adempiere-client.sh, i saw that the server has an additional parameter "-console 12612".

Maybe you can add this to your adempiere-client.sh. After running the client, you can try to connect via telnet using the terminal command "telnet localhost 12612". If it works like on the server, you now have a connection the the osgi console.
