Hi folks,

I'm new to iDempiere and to this group. My name is Orlando and I'm from Nicaragua.

After a successful installation of iDempiere under Amazon Linux, my iDempiere instance has been working fine after several months. Suddenly I had to reboot the server and now I can't make it start again. This is the error I get from the log:

I tried the forum, IRC and google. Some users published related topics about this error but no answer led me to the solution.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Is there anything more in the logs (in the log folder)?

Maybe it is a permissions error. Check all iDempiere files owned by correct user.

Orlando, check your postgresql.conf and try to increase superuser_reserved_connections and make it more than 10 at least (at the same time it has to be a number lower than max_connections).
Then restart postgres and after that restart idempiere.

Hi Denis,

What I did that finally worked, was to download iDempiere 3.1.0.v20151031-2002 (not daily as I had previously), then restored a backup on the database and ran console-setup again. Lost some data but everything is working now.

Thanks for your help

Best regards
