always fail running server.product idempiere in eclipse

Dear all,

I was trying to run idempiere in eclipse. I followed the steps as follows :

1. Java SDK 6 , JRE 6 and postgresql installed , windows 7

2. Download the code - cloning idempiere from bitbucket.org/idempiere/idempiere- successful

3. Setting up eclipse as 

    A.  Switch Workspace

    B.  Target Platform

    C.  Plugins Buckminster, Core , Maven and PDE.

all step numer 3 was successful

4.  Materializing iDempiere ,--> successful

5.  Import database idempiere --> successful

6.  Run idempiere on eclipse until install.app  --> successful

     Application server  :  localhost

     web port :  8080

     SSL  :  8443

     Database type : postgresql 

     Mail server : my computer name

     DB admin password : mypassword

     Database password  : adempiere

step number 6 was successful

But when i tried run server.product  ---->  always fail

Even i have tried with eclipse indigo 3.7, eclipse kepler 4.3 and eclipse helios 3.6, with the appropriate plugins.

I have tried plugins Equinox Target Component. 

I have tried set server tomcat too.

But same error always appear as follow :

Oh ....I also have added the RequestValidator. Java , edit MRequest. Java and edit  RequestSendEmailEventData.java   --> successful

Hi, in my installation there is a folder created on materialization at:
targetPlatform/plugins/org.eclipse.equinox.launcher.gtk.linux.x86_64_1.1.100.v20110505

Seems like your installation cannot find it?

Yes, there is targetPlatform/plugins/org.eclipse.equinox.launcher.gtk.linux.x86_64_1.1.100.v20110505 and

targetPlatform/plugins/org.eclipse.equinox.launcher.win32.win32.x86_64_1.1.100.v20110502

Then what can i do ?

Hi Indra,

Go to Debug / Run Configuration for server.product, click on tab Plug-ins. Then click on button Add Required Plug-ins and then click on button Validate Plug-ins.

My guess is you are running under Windows hence you  need to remove plugin org.eclipse.equinox.launcher.gtk.linux.x86_64
