version number change for development branch (master)

hi @all,

for several times when training new people for development on idempiere framework they made some confusion about development and stable artifact.

I know that after understanding the project guidelines (about using Z identifier for development versions), this is not a big problem, but maybe it could be easier to newest members don't get stuck on simple things like that, mainly when dealing with artifacts on local machine, server versions.... 

i'm thinking if it's possible to change that to increase the major version number for the master/development branch right after releasing a new stable version. By doing that then we can always mention version X for stable, version Y development and other versions as deprecated.

it's just an idea...  WDYT ?

Really nice suggestion, as you know it was discussed in the marketing meeting, we will wait on the founders opinion to make decisions.
