Dashboard Content HTML Process parameters

hi,

i'm trying to setup new dashboard content type process/html - so want to see run report inside dashboard.

There is a field parameters. Can't get it works ? any documentation (we are not drilled into the code yet)

also would like to know how can i setup date range parameter.
