CRM : Sales Opportunity on Sales Order

Hi,

I've started to play with the CRM module and I notice something strange.

There is a column Opportunity in the C_Order table but the field is not displayed.

On the Sales Opportunity window, there is a tab that shows all sales order linked to that sales opportunity.

Is there a way to generate a sales order from the sales opportunity window ? 

Or should i only display the Opportunity field on the sales order window ?

Hi Nicolas, originally Adaxa allowed creation of new orders from Quote/Orders tab of Sales Oportunity window, but I can't tell you why new records was disabled for that tab in iDempiere.

I haven't though to this option (ie, set the tab as InsertRecord =  Y). Seems easier.

Hi Nicholas,

I've tried to set InsertRecord = 'Y and now I can insert new record in Quote/Order tab in Sales Opportunity window.

But the strange is, global variable IsSOTrx is always set to False (3|1|IsSOTrx == N), so in Target Document Type there is only Purchase Order option.

I would like to confirm if this is a bug or I'm doing something wrong?

Recently i reviewed and enhanced Adaxa's CRM in iDempiere here http://red1.org/adempiere/viewtopic.php?f=45&t=1822 and it does cover Opportunity display.

There was a bug.. Our ticketing system says (on 8 Nov 2012!) "When maintaining a Quote/Order from the Sales Opportunity window, the list of Target Document Type seems restricted to Purchase Order under the ZK UI. This can be resolved by setting a Default Logic onto the IsSOTrx field under the Quote/Order tab."
