Hi community,

During the last days I made some changes to our wiki:

* upgraded to version 1.32.1

** the problem about creating users coming from a language wiki is solved in this version

** the extension that we were using to rate plugins is abandoned and the old one didn't work with this version - so I dropped the rating extension and the references in all plugin pages

* enabled some improvements for performance - in my tests the wiki now seems a lot faster than it was before

* disabled direct account creation

** I was dealing with spammers on a daily basis - this is really a PITA and every day the problem grows bigger - some days spammers create 4 accounts and 50 pages - and daily blocking, erasing, pruning became a very time consuming task

* installed the extension ConfirmAccount

** so, now instead of direct creation of user there is a Request page, how does it work:

*** Users navigate to the link "Request Account" at the top right

*** Create a request with username, email, real name and a biography of at least 6 words

*** Then the user wil receive a confirmation email - in my tests this email went to spam folder many times - so that can be a problem to let new users know

*** After email is confirmed administrators can review the queue and approve/reject/hold/delete
