Hi,

The Cash Journal module was deprecated in iDempiere.

What replacement is iDempiere using for Cash Journal?

I was trying the iDempiere payment module but it didn't work exactly the way I wanted.

In our company, a single cashier is given cash and releases cash based on requests.
Based on the cash book, different requests are done and allocated to different charges in the cash line.
The requests are normally small item requests (i.e. something less than $10 etc) and
do not normally need to go through Purchase Orders.
Some requests do not even have receipts or invoices but rather vouchers to support a purchase.

I was wondering how this business process can be done through the existing iDempiere payment module?

Thanks.

Hi Enrique, in such case I would suggest doing payments directly to a
charge.

You can create new Payment Window with default value for Bank/Business Partner for your Cash Journal.
