No coding needed. No plugin.xml nor Callout.java. Aladdin Magic Plugin does it via JSR223. http://red1.org/adempiere/viewtopic.php?f=45&t=1821&start=25
Simple script format for most common Callouts without hassle of recompiling. Will improve it to cover for more difficult cases.

Hi Red,

How to upgrade Aladdin Magic Plugin from old version (already installed in my idempiere box) to this latest one?

The Aladdin cannot even create a new column into itself because its a recursive trap. So do the manual way AD_New:
1. Table-Column > new column > Callout > Synchronize
2. Window > new field

Then trash the old plugin jar. Install new plugin jar. Cache reset and you are there.

On second thought, i will put it in another fresh window. I will do this as a better practice. As it is easier to export out a new window into 2Pack and add it incrementally retaining the old 2Pack so that you are not impacted. Will do this when another idea crops up.
