Sistine Chapel Silly Colouring

A funny activity that has always gone down well with brownies and
rainbows:

Print out the Sistine chapel pictures and then use blue tac to fix
them under a table. The children then need to lie on their backs (if
it’s a low table) or sit up and tilt their head (if a high table) in
order to colour them – as if they were on the scaffolding painting the
real chapel ceiling. Of course, using actual paint would be rather
messy. We’ve always used pencils or crayons!
