Idealist manual

[John Nurick]

A few years ago I finally gave up using Idealist in favour of OneNote (mainly because I could access it from my Windows phone as well as my Windows computers). Today, unpacking computer books after a move, I found the printed manual that came with Idealist when the world was young and all. 

Yours for the cost of postage from Australia - or if more than one person wants it, it'll go to the one offering the best story or the most spondulicks. Otherwise it's for the recycling bin. 

_Blackwell Idealist: The Information Manager_, Oxford: Blackwell Science, 1995. 230x185mm, about 320 pages ("Pagination by André of Beverley Hills"), excellent condition.

Hi Tim,

Australia Post Economy Air seems the least extortionate option at AUD 35.19, say AUD 37 to allow for a padded envelope. I think that's about GBP 21.

That was me venting my frustration at Microsoft Word, which had one pagination algorithm for the screen, and a different one for printing. We wasted hours trying to get the thing to print properly.

I now have two PDF versions on my Hard Drive.

There’s a strange disparity in their file sizes, but both work OK.

Many thanks to you all - although I use Jot+ for many things, I still have a couple of Idealist databases that are essential.

I reviewed Idealist for one of the PC mags shortly after it was released and was very disappointed when it was dropped.

It is unique.
