We've been made aware of a farmland property in Piatt County that is for sale. 

The current tenant farmer is an experienced organic grower and is interested in continuing a long-term farming arrangement with the next landowner. If the next landowner was not interested in organic farming, all of the current farmer's work transitioning the land could go to waste.

The property is 115 acres with a PI of 138. The current landowner is asking $15,500/acre. The farmer-tenant has been farming the land since 2021. The last three years the farmer harvested organic certified crops from the land. 

This could be a great fit for investors, organizations, or programs interested in supporting organic agriculture, land access, and long-term farm viability.
