Women for the Land: Virtual Coffee Hour Series

Good afternoon IDEA Farm Network,

I hope you are abundantly well and that this season has been a success for you in any way.

I'm excited to announce that in collaboration with some colleagues at American Farmland Trust, we will host a Virtual Farmer Coffee Hour: Listening & Support Session on Thursday October 2, 2025, at 6PM EST/5pm CST.

This informal, supportive virtual gathering is a space for women farmers to share challenges, access helpful resources, and connect with others. The space is for women BIPOC farmers from the Midwest, Southeast, and East coast. We’ll discuss resource needs, offer peer support, and help connect you to funding, technical assistance, and networks.

For this session, we are looking for your feedback on the topics we will cover in this and future calls. Our goal is to create this space tailored to things that are top of mind and relevant to support your farming journey. Upon registration, we'll have a few questions for you to answer to gage your interest on topic ideas for this upcoming call.
