hey guys,

I want to use IDE64 with a C128DCR and an internal Swiftlink Wifi Modem (https://github.com/dabonetn/Swift-Internal).

Without the IDE64 it works fine, but with the IDE64 the Swiftlink Modem doesn't work anymore.

The Swiftlink Modem is set to $DE00, so could this be the problem?
I could also switch over to $DF00 or $D700.

Is the IDE64 also using $DE00 and there is now a conflict with the Swiftlink?

regards pcollins

Yes, the IDE64 uses registers in the $DE00 range.

From the FAQ:

$de20-$de37 – registers of the controller
$de5f – register of the real-time clock
$de60-$deff – addresses used by the software

So, I should set the Swiftlink Wifi Modem to $DF00 or $D700 and it would work, right?

I can't guarantee it would work, as I do not own a Swiftlink, but that is what I would try, yes.

Hi

I recommend putting it at $D700 - it will not interfere with expansion port, it's easy to do on C128 and both DesTerm 3.2 and CCGMS will support it.
