IDE64 and softIEC on C64Ultimate

Hi Josef,

I got my c64 ultimate and was wondering if enabling softIEC would be a great way to transfer the files to ide64 from the usb directory that is mounted to the softiec drive.

But the softiec drive, although recognized, when trying to load the directory list hangs and report ?drive not ready.

I tried with the jiffy kernal and the default one. Same behaviour.

Please check if you have time.

Hi Igor,

You should try disabling the Floppy Speeder in the IDE64 CMOS Setup Utility.
Go to (left arrow key + Restore):
CMOS Setup Utility > Standard Setup > Floppy Speeder: Disabled

Built-in speeder can interfere with softIEC communication.
