IDEDOS V0.90 p52 VICE 3.1 write error formatting partition

Greetings,

I'm following the instructions here : http://www.ide64.org/setting-up-ide64-in-vice.txt   to try to format the IDE64 drive on Win Vice 3.1  /  Win 7 pro sp1

IDEDOS V0.90 p52

Tried both the '3.1 up to 3.4' and v4.1 from http://singularcrew.hu/idedos/compile.php

(What version of the of IDE64 is in Vice 3.1 ?)

I tried changing the version under under settings/IDE64, no effect

Same results on a ubuntu 14.04 / Vice 3.1 34062M running under Wine 1.62

Hi Mike!

Thank you very much for reporting this error. At a first glance it looks
to me as if it could potentially reveal a bug in one of recent VICE
releases. Would you please try with an earlier version of VICE (3.0
and/or 2.x) and let me know if following the same instructions works
with one of them?
