tkinter on ida 5.5

Dear idapython group!

As i try to run a tk based scripts such as:

import Tkinter

Tkinter._test()

</code>

i get a frozen screen.

i do not get this happening to me on ida 5.2 with an older version of ida python.

does anyone have a guess on what's the problem or how to fix it?
