I have watched a few tutorial videos on the Hilti Profis base plate design but am still confused about one thing. When using the CBFEM method, after you click "calculate" and the box pops up giving information about the anchor loads and plate deformation, what exactly should I be looking for when the anchor forces are being compared? When comparing the anchor forces of the infinitely rigid plate to the CBFEM method, what are good percentages to look for? In our office we try designing base plates with this percentage to be 10% or less but in these tutorial videos, you have accepted much higher percentages. Is there a different cutoff percentage we should be looking for (other than the 10% we are currently using)?

Hi Alicia,

Please refer to the article Using CBFEM to Validate Rigid and Non-Rigid Base Plate Assumptions. For further assistance, please contact hnatechnic...@hilti.com.

When I submit my registration for profis anchor channel registration, the software is telling me that " The activation key could not be activated because there is no internet connection available". The problem is that my connection is working well. I did try multiple time and with 2 different activation key, but the same result happen.
