Idaho RID Membership Renewal

Hello,

A few announcements: 

1) It's membership renewal time.  Current Idaho RID memberships expire July 1st, 2019 with the beginning of the new fiscal year.  You may join or renew your membership on our website, http://idahorid.org/join-idahorid/.  Thank you for the support, Idaho RID appreciates it!

2) The Idaho RID board has decided not to do a large October conference this year.  A yearly conference requires a lot of manpower and stretches our small board and resources.  We will offer a large conference next year and hope to continue to offer larger conferences on a biannual basis.  In lieu of a conference this year we are working to offer smaller workshops and Deaf performances/entertainment including events in Boise, Pocatello and Northern Idaho in the near future...more details coming soon.

3) Thank you to all those who participated in our Idaho RID professional development survey!  The board is currently analyzing the results and actively working on ways to best implement the professional development funds received through the CDHH/Idaho RID partnership.   

4) The board has also been working with the College of Southern Idaho IT department to make improvements to our website, including a member login.  We'll send out an announcement and login information once the new website is complete. 

5) Finally, Heather Fultz will officially begin her term as president on July 1st.  I'm confident that Heather will ROCK as Idaho RID president!!  Thank you for the support during my term.  I've learned a lot in the leadership seat and I genuinely appreciate the opportunity to serve.
