Wolf is a master teacher who knows how to motivate and get results. His Star Shooter camps are held throughout the United States and have unanimously received strong endorsement. Coaches praise his ability to present material so it is easy to understand and his unique method of teaching players how to correct their own shooting errors.
"In my 29 years of coaching, I have never seen anyone teach shooting to all ages like Jay. I'm sold on the entire Star Shooter Program."
Flip Saunders
Former Minnesota
Tiberwolves' Head Coach
Coach Wolf attributes much of his success to a training devise he invented and patented in 1990. Trade named, The SHOOTING STRAP, it has produced outstanding results at all levels of ability. Used by many NBA players and shooting coaches, it is endorsed by nationally acclaimed coaches and used by more than 5000 coaches around the world.
What makes this camp so successful?
"When athletes practice, 85 percent of it is WITHOUT a coach present", says Wolf. "By attending a Star Shooter Camp, every player learns how to be their OWN shooting coach. When a miss does occur, they will instantly know the Reason and the Remedy. Information like this is invaluable to athletes and coaches at all levels and drastically improves accuracy."
Skyline Head Coach Ty Shippen says, "We are thrilled to have one of the best shooting instructors in the world coming to Idaho Falls. I am convinced that athletes who attend this camp and utilize the Star Shooter program will see a dramatic improvement in not just their shooting technique, but their accuracy as well. We are also encouraging coaches at all levels to attend this camp so they can improve their ability to teach shooting correctly.”
Each Star Shooter participant will learn:
