Nolonger can you expect to complete a single qualification at the start of your career and then assume that you are done with formal learning forever. Businesses are looking for people with current formal qualifications in the competitive job market. Continuing your education throughout your working life can also help you to get promotions.
The MBA degree is perhaps the most versatile of vocations. It has so much potential and offers so many career growth opportunities that it is hard to imagine why more people do not opt for the degree. However, when people are in the business industry and making money that is keeping them comfortable in life it is hard to imagine giving that up and going to school to get an MBA.
Finishing college is an admirable goal. But it takes lots of time to get there. If you've always dreamed about getting your degree but have been thwarted by a busy schedule, online courses may be the right choice for you. When you take college courses online, you can get your college degree at your own pace.
Courses can be sorted by Favorite status, Name, Nickname, Term, enrollment status, and Published status by clicking the Sort icon in the header [5]. Groups are sorted alphabetically by group name.
All Courses are courses that are part of the current semester or term. However, depending on access settings for a course, My Courses can also display courses that have not yet started or are unpublished.
The published status for each course displays in the Published column [5]. Unpublished courses display a gray background [6]. The gray background does not display for unpublished courses in past or future enrollments.
You can change the order that courses are listed by clicking the Sort icon in the header [8]. The column currently used for sorting displays either the ascending or descending icon to indicate the sort order [9].
Courses under the Past Enrollments heading are courses that have concluded but are still available as a read-only archived course. Prior users can view course material and grades but cannot submit any assignments.
Future courses may be published or unpublished. However, some institutions may restrict instructors from accessing courses before the term begins. If a future course does not include a link [1], the course cannot be viewed until the term start date.
Below is a master list of all approved diversity courses for the College of Letters and Science, Herb Alpert School of Music, Meyer and Renee Luskin School of Public Affairs, School of the Arts and Architecture, and School of Education and Information Studies. Filter by College or school or by subject area.
With course list structured data, you can provide more information about your courses so that prospective students find your courses through Google Search. You can provide details including the course name, who's offering it, and a short description.
There are two course rich result features that use the same
schema.org Course type. If your site provides information about courses, you can be eligible for both features by following both implementation guides:

You must include the required properties for your content to be eligible for display as a rich result. You can also include the recommended properties to add more information about your content, which could provide a better user experience.

From the Base Navigation menu where your name appears, select Courses to view a list of your courses. You can return to previous courses to review content, reuse material, and prepare your future courses.
On the Courses page, you can access all of your courses. Each course card lists the course ID, course title, and instructor. If your course has multiple instructors, select Multiple Instructors for a list. Select More info to see the description and schedule, if added.
Courses that are associated with a term will always be displayed under that term. Note, however, that a course associated with a term that is made available to students will display both in the current term and in term it is associated with.
Filter or search your list. Use the Filter menu to modify your view of the page. Your filtered list stays as you access courses. If you navigate to another page, all courses show again. Use the search function to find courses on the current page.
Filter by term and other categories. You can filter by term to display courses from the past, present or future. There is also a filter allowing you to filter by Courses I teach, Open Courses, Private Courses, Completed Courses. If you teach a lot of courses, you can choose how many appear on each page. At the bottom of the list, you'll find a page selector to navigate through long lists.
View your favorites quickly. If you access a course frequently, you can select the star button to add it to your favorites so it appears at the top of the list. You can select the star button again to remove a course from your favorites.
Private. You can make a course private while you add or experiment with content, and then open it to students when you're ready. Students see private courses in their course lists, but they can't access them.
Hide. You can choose to hide a course from your course list to organize your view. Activity for hidden courses no longer appears in the global pages about all your courses. Only instructors have the option to hide courses. To show a hidden course, filter the list by Hidden from me > open a course's menu > select Show course.
Complete. You can choose to set your course to Complete when the course has ended, but you can no longer make changes to it. Students can access the content, but they can't participate in the course any longer. For example, they can't reply to discussions or submit assignments. You can return the course to Open or Private as you want. However, if a course has an end date, and the end date passes, then students can't access the course any longer. So, if you complete a course and open it again after the end date, students can't access it.
The minimum size for images is 1200 x 240 pixels with an aspect ratio of 4:1. Use this measurement to ensure the best quality. Open the menu in the top-right corner of a course card's image and select Edit course image to upload a new image.
If your course isn't associated with a term or uses custom start and end dates and is currently active, it appears in the Assorted dates group on the Current Courses page. Non-term courses are labeled by year on the Past Courses page when they end or on the Upcoming Courses page if they start in the future.
After you select the field type, type a search term or phrase. By default, the search looks for any course that contains your search term. You can change this operation to search courses that equal or start with your search term instead. You can also select Not blank to see the full list of available courses.
Select Go to start your search. If your list of results is too long, you can refine the results with the Creation Date filter. Choose a date and whether the course was created before or after that date.
Select a course in the results to preview the content. If the course allows self-enrollment, you or your students can enroll in the course immediately. In the course catalog, open a course's menu and select Enroll.
Students in APPLES courses commit to serving a minimum of 30 hours with a community partner during the semester. While an APPLES volunteer, students can apply for additional funding and resources to deepen their contribution with an organization. As many APPLES students continue to serve beyond the length of the semester, APPLES is also committed to sustaining and connecting these organizations with APPLES courses or other resources at Carolina. Each year, APPLES provides resources and support for more than 100 faculty and community partners sustaining service-learning partnerships.
APPLES course listings are added the week before registration for the fall, spring and summer semesters. Most APPLES courses fulfill the experiential education graduation requirement and all require a minimum of 30 hours of service. Students can register for courses online using Connect Carolina. APPLES program staff cannot enroll students in any course. Each semester, the course listing changes and the designation for experiential education may change as well.
