bagaimana cara menambah resolusi LCD via xrandr

LCD saya capable untuk resolusi sampai 1280x800(paling nayman dimata) bahkan lebih.

tetapi kalau di perintah xrandr -q 

hasilnya seperti dibawah. xorg.conf ditambah manual tidak ngefek.

ada yang bisa membantu?

XOrg -configure.

jalaninnya di modus teks.

nanti ada xorg.conf.new. tinggal di salin saja.

Saya sudah berhasil menjadikan resolusi saya ke 1280x800 

(berkat baca di http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1112186 )

Urut-urutan langkah ada dibawah. cuman masih bingung cara mempermanenkannya di xorg.conf

Ada yang bisa nolong?

dengan menambah perintah

xrandr --newmode "1280x800_60.00" 83.46 1280 1344 1480 1680 800 801
804 828 -HSync

xrandr --addmode VGA1 1280x800_60.00

xrandr --output VGA1 --mode 1280x800_60.00

xrandr --newmode "1280x800_60.00" 83.46 1280 1344 1480 1680 800 801
804 828 -HSync --> didapat dengan mengetik perintah: gtf 1280 800 60

diselipin di /etc/gdm/Init/Default
sebelum
initctl -q emit login-session-start DISPLAY_MANAGER=gdm

sekarang resolusi 1280x800 (16:10) tersedia di pilihan
