Job Title: Firmware Technical Lead

Location: Sunnyvale, CA

Duration: Long Term

 

Job Description:

·         Expertise in firmware/ bios updates

·         Will be responsible for developing/ enhancing software to update firmware and bios on servers

·         Software to be programmed for Bare metal hardware, should be able to integrate with other components

·         Strong system software knowledge required

·         Knowledge of Networking/ Kernel

·         Need to write code that allows us to signal a PXE boot is starting

·         Need to PXE boot various small kernels (mostly Linux), run some patching and update code, reboot and signal progress along the way.

·         Knowledge of VMware platforms/ technologies is not mandatory, it is a desired skill
