Greetings form Yuva Chetana – ICYM Bangalore

 

It’s time again for fellowship, fun and Sports competition that Youth of our parishes look forward to. The programme of Reach Out is as follows.

 

Cricket: (Boys) Saturday, 16^th November 10:00 am onwards

10 players per team (8 Boys and 2 Girls)

 

Football (Boys) Sunday 17^th November 10:00 am onwards

5 + 3 Players, 10 + 10 MINUTES a game

 In case a of a tie, Penalty Shoot outs

 

Volley Ball: (Boys) Sunday 17^th November 10:00 am onwards

Each team consists of 6+3

All matches, one set of points scored as in table tennis will be played on a knock out basis.

 

Throw ball: (Girls) Sunday 17^th November 10:00 am onwards

Each team consists of 6+3 players

All matches, one set of points scored as in table tennis will be played on a knock out basis.

 

Parish Priests must sign and affix the parish seal on the registration forms with Rs. 100 as registration fee per activity/sport. The rules and regulations are enclosed.

Rules and Regulations

 

All participants must and should necessarily be Parish youth members (Age 15-30 unmarried). Any team found violating this rule WILL BE DISQUALIFIED for the respective event. Parishes should send only one team per event. Registration Fee, Rs. 100 per event.

 

The registration form is sent along with details and is to be signed by the Parish Priest.

 

Cricket: (Boys) 16^th November

10 players per team (8 Boys and 2 Girls)

• 5 overs per innings,
• Only 1 over per bowler, Bowler can bowl or throw
• Zones will be marked for scoring 2, 4 and 6 runs.
• Each Batsman can face only 6 balls
• Not out Batsman can return to bat after all wickets are down
• Wides will earn a run and extra ball
• No Balls will earn a run, an extra ball and a free hit (only run out possible)

 Duration: 30 minutes per innings
