Prayerful greetings from Divine!
We are happy to welcome you for POWER 2014, the 9th INTERNATIONAL YOUTH CONFERENCE to be held here at Divine Retreat Centre from 20 to 25 July 2014. The theme of the Conference is “HAVE LIFE IN ALL ITS FULLNESS” (Jn 10:10). During this week there will also be a special INTERNATIONAL KIDS CAMP, COUPLES RETREAT and GROWTH RETREAT. In the following week which is from 27 July to 1 August 2014, there is the POWER LEADERS’ CONFERENCE for priests, religious, and lay leaders and all those involved and interested in serving the Lord.
Power 2014 will be marvelous experience of the faith and the universal Church. Sessions will include inspiring talks, moving testimonies, vibrant gospel music, daily celebration of the Eucharist and Eucharistic adoration. The retreat will be led by Fr Augustine Vallooran and the Divine team. Internationally renowned Catholic bishops, priests, preachers, musicians who will be here to minister on those days include Cardinal Allenchery, Archbishop John Dew of Wellington, Fr Michael Payyapilly from Australia, Jude Antoine from Malaysia, Fr Stan Fortuna, the Rapping Friar from USA, Fr Rob Galea, the renowned musician priest from Australia, Fr Armitage from UK, Lalith Perera with the Risen Lord Music Ministry from Sri Lanka and Colin Calmiano from Bangalore. The music ministries include the Divine music ministry, Empowered from Malaysia and FAITH from Goa. Groups of youth from different parts of the world will be here to journey together and experience the mighty outpouring of grace in these days.

POWER will be held in English Language only.
Retreat duration: 20 July, 2014 (10 am) to 25 July, 2014 (1 pm)
Registration fee: Rs.400/- (includes accommodation in dormitory and regular cuisine for the entire week)
Rs.200/- for children below 8 years
Multi-cuisine charges : Rs.800/- for all (optional)
Registration: We invite you to avail of the online registration facility. Please fill the registration form which is in the attached document and email it to diviney...@gmail.com. Kindly fill in all the details specified in the form. This prior registration will facilitate quick admission facilities on arrival at Divine.
Payment mode for online/prior registration : Payment is accepted through Demand Draft favouring “Director, Divine Youth”, sent by post/courier to reach us before 11 July 2014. The payment is accepted as a demand draft or as cash that is personally handed. Online/prior registration will be complete and accepted only if the DD for registration reaches as indicated above. As soon as the payment is received an email will be sent to you with the scanned copy of the receipt and 3 days before the Conference your accommodation details will be conveyed to you.
Accommodation: The youth are allotted spacious and clean dormitories to stay in. The rooms are for the sick and sponsor card holders. Sponsor card holders must bring their original sponsor cards. Sponsor card room facility can be availed by sponsor card holder and/or their immediate family members only. Sponsor card details must be filled in the Registration form. Families that opt for prior registration will be provided rooms on payment basis.
What you need to bring along: Bible, pen, note book, bed-sheets, toiletries, umbrella.
Dress Code: Comfortable, Modest clothing that is appropriate in a place of prayer. Please avoid tight-fitting, sleeveless, transparent, above-the-knee and sub-waist trousers.
