Icy Crash on Start

Hello, I am having a problem where Icy will not open on my Mac (running High Sierra Version 10.13.6). When I try to open the application folder, the icon appears on the doc and then immediately disappears. I have tried re-downloading Icy, downloading the latest versions of Java JDK and the patch listed on the Icy FAQ page, and running the macOS fixapp code included in the Icy download, but nothing has solved the problem so far. Any insight on this issue would be appreciate! Thank you!

Hi Sarah,

You can try what we suggest in the FAQ here :

We just updated it as sometime the osx-appfix script doesn't work so you can manually fix it.

Hi Stephane,

Thank you very much for your reply - the updated instructions to manually run the osx-appfix worked, and I can now run Icy normally.
